So to give a little back to that wonderful blogger community, at the end of every month I'd like to share my top 3 new blog discoveries that inspired me that month. New, because for me they will be. It's perfectly possible that (like this month) the blogs I stumble upon and love instantly are in fact quite well known and established already but it's also possible I find a brand new up and coming blog with almost no followers yet. Size doesn't matter for this feature. Heart, passion, writing style, beautiful pictures and that-what-makes-you-you does. So without further ado, here are my top 3 new blog discoveries in August!
» Media Marmelade
First up this month is Media Marmelade, written by the beautiful Melissa. She focusses on fashion and career life. From the first moment I visited this blog I really felt that she's a passionate, driven and ambitious blogger, and when she gives advice about starting a business (or not), I believe her. Here's how Melissa describes her blog:
"Media Marmalade is a destination for the stylish, the ambitious and the passionate. It’s a hub of daily inspiration, motivational content and advice and tips for those of us on a journey to sartorial, life and career success."If you're looking for motivation on the blogging or career front, very stylish outfits or overall great photography, Media Marmelade is the place to be!
Next up is the amazing blog From Roses, written by the talented Rebecca. From Roses is a bit of a mix of beauty, health, lifestyle, interior and inspirational posts. Very similar to the topics I cover here on A Hearty Home. I like this blog so much because of her down to earth honest writing style. I feel like she's a normal person, just like you and me, but with so much talent for photography and writing that I admire her a lot. She's comes across as a friend you never knew you had. This is how Rebecca describes herself:
"I'm Rebecca, 25 and I'm a freelancer currently based in Nottingham. I have an unhealthy obsession with striped Bretons, lip balm, stationary and my little white dog Bella."If you're looking for advice on beauty products, style, interior or you love lifestyle photography, From Roses is definitely a blog you need to visit!
» Nishaantishu
Last but not least is a blog called Nishaantishu. I have no idea what the name means or if it's even a word in some language but I think it sounds beautiful. Nishaantishu is a travel and lifestyle blog written by the lovely Freya. I love the calm vibe, the lovely pictures and the overall message of her posts. It's a little place on the internet where I can go and unwind from a busy day and look at the world through loving eyes. I asked Freya to describe her blog in a few sentences and this is what she said:
"It's a blog about travel and the lifestyle that goes with it. It's also about living a life you love, whatever that means to you. Feeling fulfilled in whatever you do. It's about finding happiness in the life you are building around you, having it reflect who you are as a person and really learning to appreciate that. But it's mostly about travel."If you love to read real life stories, see beautiful pictures from beautiful places all over the world and feel really relaxed and calm while doing just that, Nishaantishu is a must read.
